, On the China trip cuz time skip. Yangtze River Cruise (3dys), Hong Kong (of manner) Guilin (Li River)?

August 31, 2010

We are already going to Beijing, Shanghai, Xi'an. Can only 2 of the 3 (seems Guiling / go Yangshuo, Hong Kong, Yangtze River cruise from Chongqing to yaching) a tourist attraction with the Guilin Li River Cruise (4 hours), and Yangshuo is not too far away that has its many natural attractions (rice fields, mountains), Hong Kong, I want to at first, but friends go to the left. Yangtze River Cruise seems at least interesting for three longest river in the world and 3-Gorges dam is an engineering marvel.

Hong Kong is a must-visit as confirmed by a recent CNN poll. The Victoria Harbour and The Peak also rated as Asia’s No. 1 skyline by a Japanese TV Station. Check http://www.DiscoverHongKong.com and enjoy!

I suggest Guilin. Three days is not enough for a Yangtze River Cruise.

I, too, would skip the Yangtze . . . you can take a short cruise in Guilin. The scenery is spectacular. I wouldn’t want to be on a smallish cruise boat for three days . . . I’d get so seasick!

Yes, I would miss out the Yangtze river trip. Guniling/Yangshuo is home to some of the best river scenery in China. It can be found on the back of 20 RMB notes

i would personally give up the Yangtze rive cruise because its a great experience but i didnt like the boats that we were on. They were tiny and werent very comfortable. But it is your decision. I think Hong Kong would be fun ive never gone there but that would be a cool place to go even though it is out of the way. It really is your choice.

sorry i couldnt offer to much help

Yangtze river, i would miss out on. The amount of scum & slim that has piled up behind the 3 gorges dam over the years is ridiculous, it’s really affected the nature and beauty. The Guilin is a proper wonder, fabulous.
